This role oAers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in business development, strategy, and client relationship management while contributing to our continued success. About the Role The primary focus of this internship is to support the growth of our subscription business across the Greater China area, including namely Mainland China, Taiwan, Macao and Hong-Kong with a specific focus on corporates and real estate. Reporting to the Head of China, you will support the growth of Oxford Economics subscription services. The role involves conducting outbound lead generation, maintaining CRM systems, assisting with sales processes, and contributing to marketing initiatives. You will work closely with internal teams, to manage new business, client engagement and support business growth initiatives. Key Responsibilities Sales and Lead Generation Support the development and execution of a market research plan across the region and territories targeted, while finding previously unidentified prospects. Set-up and compile lists of leads to be actionable and delegate them to the Business Development team. Identify key areas of growth, targeted prospects, including companies, individuals, and teams. Track key people moves, current news and market publications. Support coordination and develop outreach campaigns. Support proposal developments CRM Management and Analysis Maintain and update the Salesforce CRM system, including data entry, crosschecking, and setting up trial notifications. Ensure accurate contact details for new leads and prospects and build comprehensive lead lists. Curating existing lists and refining the approach to optimize the CRM automation Generate reports and develop tools to monitor and evaluate sales and marketing eAorts. Campaign planning, drafting and preparation of the multi touchpoints (to be validated in coordination and sent by responsible BD) Skills, Knowledge & Expertise The ideal candidate is rigorous, independent and autonomous, self-motivated and attentive to the details and can also demonstrate the following skills. Required Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Self-starter with a strong drive to set and achieve ambitious goals. Eye for detail and accuracy. Time-management and sense of priorities while operating under deadlines Fluency in both English and Mandarin (mandatory) Desired Background in business, management, or marketing (seeking Bachelor’s or Master’s level). Interest in a career in sales, marketing, or other commercial roles. Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Effective problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills. Experience with a CRM software and lead gen tools (Lusha, SalesLoft, Sales Navigator, etc.) is a strong plus.
