Role Overview

We are looking for a high-potential Cross-Border E-Commerce professional with strong experience in emerging markets, particularly Southeast Asia and/or Latin America.

This role will focus on understanding local merchant needs and cross-border commerce scenarios, and translating them into scalable business and financial solutions with financial institutions, payment partners, and ecosystem participants.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in a leading cross-border e-commerce platform, with hands-on exposure to merchant operations, seller ecosystems, or platform development in emerging markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop merchant and ecosystem strategies for cross-border e-commerce opportunities across Southeast Asia and Latin America.
• Understand local merchant and B2B commerce needs, including payments, settlement, and cross-border operating challenges.
• Translate merchant pain points and transaction requirements into scalable business and financial solutions.
• Work with financial institutions and payment partners to develop solutions across payments, collections, settlement, FX, and liquidity.
• Identify new market opportunities, local transaction behaviours, and ecosystem gaps.
• Develop scalable merchant operating models and ecosystem programs across multiple markets.
• Collaborate with product, BD, operations, compliance, and other internal teams to execute new solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in cross-border e-commerce, marketplaces, or platform businesses.
• Direct experience covering Southeast Asia, Latin America, or other emerging markets.
• Strong background in merchant operations, seller operations, ecosystem development, platform operations, or commercial strategy.
• Strong understanding of the merchant journey, local commerce ecosystem, and B2B cross-border scenarios.
• Ability to translate merchant and market needs into structured business and financial solutions.
• Strong commercial, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable working across merchants, platforms, financial institutions, and internal product teams.
