Location: Remote (Preferred: South Florida, including Miami and Fort Lauderdale) Travel Requirement: Up to 50% international travel Position Summary: Quaint Oak Bank is seeking a Business Development Officer (BDO) to drive growth within its Correspondent Banking and Specialty Banking businesses. This sales-focused role is responsible for developing relationships with international banks, financial institutions, fintechs, and payment providers seeking U.S. banking solutions. The successful candidate will generate new business opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and expand the Bank's presence within the global financial services marketplace. The ideal candidate has experience in correspondent banking, international payments, treasury services, and financial institution sales, along with a strong network of industry contacts and a proven ability to develop and close new business relationships. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients and referral partners. Conduct outbound prospecting and targeted business development campaigns. Identify opportunities for correspondent banking, treasury management, international payments, foreign exchange, and related banking services. Develop new business relationships with regulated international banks, foreign financial institutions, electronic money institutions (EMIs), payment service providers (PSPs), money services businesses (MSBs), fintech companies, Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) providers, virtual asset service providers (VASPs), and other regulated financial services organizations. Build and maintain relationships with executives and decision-makers at international banks, foreign financial institutions, fintech companies, payment providers, and other regulated organizations. Represent Quaint Oak Bank at domestic and international conferences, trade shows, and industry events to expand market awareness and generate new business opportunities. Establish and grow strategic referral and partnership networks that support business development objectives. Maintain accurate sales activities, reporting, forecasting, and opportunity tracking within HubSpot CRM. Monitor industry developments, market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive activity to identify new business opportunities and prospective client relationships. Develop target account strategies to expand geographic coverage and increase market penetration across priority customer segments. Partner closely with Compliance, BSA/AML, Treasury, Operations, Legal, Customer Success, and Program Success teams to support the onboarding and ongoing success of new client relationships. Contribute to Specialty Banking revenue growth through the acquisition and development of new correspondent banking and financial institution relationships. Other duties as needed. Requirements & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Minimum of five (5) years of business development, sales, or relationship management experience within financial services. Experience selling correspondent banking services, treasury management services, international payments, foreign exchange solutions, and related financial institution products. Proven success generating new business opportunities and building long-term client relationships. Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, networking, and relationship management skills. Working knowledge of correspondent banking, international banking, treasury services, SWIFT, and cross-border payment solutions. Ability to travel internationally up to 50% of the time. Must be comfortable traveling independently throughout Latin America and the Caribbean and possess prior travel experience within the region. Established network of contacts within international banks, foreign financial institutions, payment companies, fintech organizations, EMIs, PSPs, MSBs, or digital asset firms. Experience with Financial Institution Group (FIG) banking, sponsor banking, fintech banking, or banking partnership models. Familiarity with AML/BSA requirements applicable to financial institution customers. Spanish language proficiency. Experience with HubSpot CRM, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Microsoft Office Suite preferred. Salary: $105,000 - $115,000/year; offer is commensurate with experience.
