Role Description

This is a remote, contract Independent Contractor role focused on business development and market expansion across African regions. The contractor will identify potential clients, conduct outreach, and present Clients’ services or solution. Day-to-day responsibilities include researching target industries, qualifying leads, nurturing relationships, and coordinating online meetings or presentations to close deals. The contractor will maintain detailed records of pipeline activity, report progress to the core team, and collaborate on strategies to increase conversions and revenue. Compensation is commission-based, aligned with closed deals, offering flexible work hours and autonomy while meeting agreed performance targets.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in business development, sales, or growth consulting, ideally involving international or emerging markets.
• Strong market research and analytical abilities to assess opportunities and risks in different African regions.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills for engaging prospective clients and closing deals.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment, manage time effectively, and meet commission-based performance goals.
• Familiarity with African business landscapes, cross-cultural collaboration, and regional business practices is highly beneficial.
• Comfort using digital tools (CRM systems, online meeting platforms, productivity software) to track leads and manage client interactions.
