About the Role
We’re looking for a Business Development Analyst to drive new project acquisition for EssorSoft. This is a commission-based role suited to someone who’s confident identifying leads, building relationships, and closing deals — with earnings tied directly to the projects you bring in.
Responsibilities
• Identify and reach out to potential clients who need software development, SaaS, website, or mobile app services
• Build and manage a pipeline of leads and prospects
• Present EssorSoft’s services and pitch project opportunities to potential clients
• Negotiate and close deals, working with the founder to scope project terms
• Maintain relationships with clients through the project lifecycle to support repeat business and referrals
Requirements
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a results-driven, commission-based structure
• Existing network or ability to generate leads in relevant industries is an asset
Preferred
• Prior experience in business development, client acquisition, or sales (IT/software services industry a plus)
Compensation
Commission-based — no cap on earnings. Compensation is directly tied to projects successfully brought in and closed. Structure to be discussed during interview.
