About Us
We are YSI, a Europe-based social innovation consultancy. We believe that doing good makes business sense. We partner with corporations, philanthropic entities and social enterprises to make social innovation a key driver of business success. We design and implement strategies that align business success with positive societal and environmental impact. We work with a team of dedicated consultants and change makers, all aligned on making our time on this planet count. We are proud to be embedded in a global ecosystem of inspiring organisations and individuals. Founded in 2012 as part of Yunus Social Business, we remain committed to exploring new ways of collaborating and expanding the boundaries of business.
Role Description
As YSI's Business Integration Manager, your mandate is to turn a live pipeline of social enterprise partnerships into signed, commercially and impact-first grounded agreements with one of the world's leading consumer goods multinationals.
YSI and partners have built over the last 4 years a portfolio of 80+ social enterprises across 15 countries, including 20+ impact partnership initiatives, and several commercial pilots are at advanced stages of maturity. The flagship programme is well anchored within the corporate partner's in-market commercial, category, and supply chain teams, and supported by a dedicated investment committee that includes senior business unit leadership.
Your job is to take this from pipeline to partnership. That means qualifying which ventures are ready for commercial integration, structuring partnerships that work for both sides, securing local ownership inside the corporate's market teams, and managing the pilots through to measurable outcomes.
The role operates at the intersection of two worlds: the commercial logic of a global FMCG company and the operational reality of high-growth social enterprises in emerging markets. You need to be credible in both. The initial geographic focus is Mexico, Brazil, and India, where the most mature opportunities currently sit.
General Conditions
Scope of Responsibilities
We seek your support in the following key areas:
Portfolio & Partnerships
Business Collaboration Pilots
Deal Structuring and Investment Readiness
Business Integration at YSI
What success looks like at 12 months
Business collaboration pilots are live with our partner’s in-market teams and are locally owned. The first value-chain integration partnership is signed and connected to measurable impact and business outcomes. We have evidence of the dual business case: impact + business.
Your Profile
You are operationally rigorous, commercially literate, and comfortable working across two very different worlds: the structured environment of a global corporate and the agile reality of a social enterprise in an emerging market. You know how to manage a complex stakeholder process without losing momentum, track multiple workstreams simultaneously, and keep pilots moving toward outcomes.
You have enough corporate experience to hold your own in a procurement, category, or supply chain conversation, and enough impact credibility and understanding of impact as a business enabler to earn the trust of a social enterprise founder. You ask the right questions, you follow through reliably, and you know the difference between a pilot that will scale and one that will quietly stall after the first review.
You operate with full ownership and early autonomy. You believe business and society can thrive together, and you want to build a commercially viable case to prove it.
Your Experience & Skills
What we bring to the table
You'll join a team managing one of the most commercially advanced social enterprise accelerator programs globally, with direct access to senior procurement and commercial functions at a major FMCG multinational. You'll work from a portfolio of 80+ vetted social enterprises across 15 countries and a live pipeline of 6 commercial pilots, giving you a head start that no equivalent role in this space can match.

We review applications on a rolling basis and encourage early submission. Please apply here: https://shadowed-piccolo-dff.notion.site/395c8d113dbb8149a1fbf48267e6b597
Please note: Direct messages coming in through online platforms such as LinkedIn will not be reviewed.
To help us learn about who you are, what you bring to the table and where you are headed, include the following three key items in your application:
(1) your curriculum vitae with insights on your professional path,
(2) an overview of partnerships you have sourced and structured that show your qualification for this role,
(3) a short video of yourself answering the below questions. The video can be self-recorded on a phone or personal device and does not require deployment of any advanced tools. This is your opportunity to show your authentic self (instead of writing a standard motivational letter). Here is your prompt:
1. Role Fit
Tell us in your own words: Who are you and why are you the right person for this role?
In your answer, you might cover: your passion, professional path, what drives you, what unique value you bring and how you will help us create impact.
2. Partnership Building
Pick one social enterprise you know well. Which partnership with a multinational’s value chain would make commercial sense for both sides, and why?
Here we are looking for your practical partnership instinct: how you spot the overlap between a venture’s strengths and a corporate’s market and supply needs.
3. From vision to execution
Describe how you would take that partnership from first conversation to a signed pilot: whom you would need on board, what the pilot would test, and how you would measure progress and social impact.
This helps us understand how you manage stakeholders, structure a deal, and evidence outcomes.
