Business Intelligence Analyst

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented BI Analyst to join our client's team in the global supply chain sector. In this role, you will contribute to gathering, building, analyzing, and interpreting data to support business operations, developing reporting and analytics solutions for LATAM to improve KPI visibility, decision-making, and business outcomes, and partnering with cross-functional teams to implement technological tools.

Responsibilities

• Absorb ownership of existing analytics solutions.
• Assist in the collection, processing, and analysis of logistics data from different sources.
• Develop and maintain analytical models that measure and predict logistics performance.
• Use data visualization tools to create basic reports and dashboards.
• Collaborate with different teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and document findings.
• Support business reviews and decision-making forums by preparing insights, performance summaries, and data-driven storytelling.
• Maintain data accuracy and integrity by supporting data validation, master data discipline, and reporting governance practices.
• Support the digitalization roadmap by helping document business needs, process opportunities, use cases, and expected value from technology-enabled improvements.
• Create clear documentation, training materials, and user support resources to enable effective adoption of dashboards, reports, and new digital tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Familiarity with statistical analysis concepts and programming languages such as Python or R.
• Foundational knowledge of Data Engineering concepts and how to apply them for analytical solutions, such as Data Warehouse and SQL.
• Experience with reporting and visualization tools, ERP systems, spreadsheets, and other analytics or automation technologies preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in relationship management or requirement gathering.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail with the ability to identify patterns in data sets.
• Language: Fluent in English; Strong proficiency in Spanish and Portuguese is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Supply Chain KPIs.
• Knowledge of AI Infusion in analytics.
• Understanding of Semantic Model Structure - Datasets, Measures, Composite Models.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Stack - Azure Databricks, Power Platform.
