SSM Health –We bring out the incredible in you, everyday. Job Summary: Guides and performs complex analyses supporting the various service domains within the system Revenue Cycle departments. Works with structured/unstructured data stores to develop ad hoc reports, automated reports, and dashboards to allow users to easily understand and act upon data. Leverages the clarity data model and will pull data from it and other sources, such as data warehouses and marts, in order to provide business insights. Provides feedback to the model and ongoing design of the warehouses and marts to ensure data accuracy and availability to meet organization reporting needs. Works with peers in order to interpret data models and business requirements and participates in sprint-based work. Responsible for complex and highly optimized queries. Provides input to the team strategy and vision. Works with key business sponsors to obtain buy-in for BI approaches. Supports and helps manage external resources and collaborative efforts. Job Responsibilities and Requirements: PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Engages with revenue cycle and care transformation operational leaders to understand the needs and recommends business intelligence solutions. Partners with revenue cycle and care transformation operations to define the data elements and data structure that the team should leverage to enable analytical capabilities. Writes, updates, and enhances SQL queries across large datasets. Develops and produces routine and ad hoc reports as requested by revenue cycle and care transformation management. Collaborates with various teams to determine report requirements and customers’ needs. Completes analyses, reviews, and improvement projects in support of revenue cycle and care transformation realizing its goals and operating plans. Supports the development and distribution of revenue cycle and care transformation dashboards and key performance metrics to relevant stakeholders throughout the system, including reporting delivered to facility leadership. Researches, analyzes, and understands entity business flow in order to facilitate application reporting and support of users. Facilitates the adoption of system-wide data integrity and standardization as identified by system leaders and/or functional quality teams. Participates in functional quality team meetings and ongoing related committee work, helping participants to determine and implement best processes. Provides analytical support/consulting to revenue cycle data application users. Serves as an information consultant to system/entity teams as required and actively promotes revenue cycle and care transformation analytics as a system-wide resource. Performs other duties as assigned. EDUCATION Bachelor’s degree EXPERIENCE Six years’ experience PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs. Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements. Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors. Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc. Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
