About the team The Agent Software and Advertising (ASA) organization at Zillow Group is at the forefront of revolutionizing the real estate industry. For over two decades, we've been developing cutting-edge technological solutions that simplify real estate transactions and empower professionals across the United States and Canada. Our innovative products and services are designed to enhance efficiency for all users, helping agents stand out in a competitive market while making the home buying and selling process truly enjoyable for consumers. The ASA Business Data, Product Analytics team sits at the center of Zillow's effort to transform the way we provide marketing and productivity tools to agents. As a Business Intelligence Manager on this team, you'll define the measurement strategy for Zillow Pro Platform and other critical ASA products including Zillow Showcase, ShowingTime, Dotloop, Zillow Pro, and other listing marketing and media products. This team plays a critical role in instrumenting key metrics that drive product understanding and prioritization. This Business Intelligence Manager role will contribute directly to establishing the measurement foundation that guides product evolution. About the role This is an exciting opportunity to define the product measurement strategy for Zillow Pro Platform from the ground up. As Business Intelligence Manager, you'll own the strategic framework for how we measure feature adoption and customer activation across Zillow Pro Platform, translating ambiguous product questions into concrete measurement approaches. You'll work directly with product leaders to determine what should be measured—establishing the key indicators of product health, feature success, and user engagement that will guide product roadmaps and investment decisions. You will get to Lead the design and development of business intelligence dashboards and reports that provide clear, timely insight into key performance indicators and operational trends. Translate stakeholder questions into analytical requirements, data definitions, and reporting specifications, ensuring alignment with Zillow’s metrics and decision-making needs. Build, optimize, and document semantic layers, data models, and queries that enable self-service analytics and multi-level reporting across teams. Monitor data quality and integrity across BI assets, investigating anomalies, resolving issues, and partnering with data engineering or source system owners on sustainable fixes. Partner with product, operations, finance, and other stakeholders to analyze complex data sets, identify drivers of performance, and recommend data-informed actions. Standardize BI best practices and reusable components (e.g., templates, calculations, data definitions) to increase consistency, reliability, and scalability of reporting solutions. Provide guidance and training to business users on interpreting dashboards, using self-service BI tools, and applying insights appropriately in their workflows. This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company.
