Archie Labs · Full-Time Contractor · Remote (Latam) About the role Archie Labs is the professional services arm of Archie, an AI-native application builder. We help enterprises design, build, and deploy production-grade AI and data solutions. We're looking for a Business Intelligence & Reporting Analyst to own the reporting lifecycle for enterprise clients, from requirements discovery to production-ready dashboards, working closely with business, product, and technology stakeholders. Power BI expertise is essential, and the role also contributes to our transition toward Omni's semantic layer. Our team and clients are international, so advanced English (C1) is required. What you'll do Design, build, enhance, and deploy production-ready dashboards and reports in Power BI, while supporting the migration toward Omni and its semantic layer. Own the reporting lifecycle end-to-end: requirements discovery, development, testing, stakeholder validation, deployment, and post-release support. Translate complex business questions into clear KPIs, metrics, and visualizations through discovery sessions with business, product, and technical stakeholders. Manage and validate semantic models: business definitions, measures, dimensions, relationships, and calculation logic. Build and execute test plans, writing Python/pandas validation scripts to check row counts, nulls, duplicates, referential integrity, and business rules. Write optimized SQL for Databricks and cloud data warehouses, and integrate reporting with SharePoint and Microsoft 365. Maintain a prioritized analytics backlog in Jira and participate actively in Agile ceremonies (standups, planning, reviews, retrospectives). Document dashboards, data models, semantic definitions, and release notes continuously throughout delivery. What we're looking for 3–5 years of professional experience in Business Intelligence, reporting, data analysis, or a closely related analytics role. Advanced hands-on Power BI experience: data modeling, DAX, Power Query, workspace management, publishing, access controls, and performance tuning. Experience with Omni or comparable semantic-layer BI tools, with the ability to become productive in Omni quickly. Advanced SQL (joins, CTEs, window functions, aggregations, reconciliation, optimization). Practical experience with Python and pandas for validation, profiling, and automation. Experience with Databricks or an equivalent modern cloud data platform; familiarity with Spark is a plus. Demonstrated experience gathering requirements, defining KPIs, and validating deliverables with business stakeholders. Advanced English proficiency (C1) to lead meetings, requirements workshops, documentation, and dashboard demos. Stack: Power BI · Omni · Databricks · SQL · Python · pandas · Spark · SharePoint / Microsoft 365 · Jira Nice to have Power BI certification, such as Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300). Experience migrating reports between BI platforms or consolidating metrics into a governed semantic layer. Background in healthcare, regulated industries, or enterprise consulting environments. Familiarity with data governance, dimensional modeling, and lakehouse/medallion architecture. Exposure to row-level security, data masking, or compliance frameworks such as HIPAA or SOC 2.
