Business Owner / Founder

This role is for one of our clients Compensation: $80-$160 per hour We are seeking experienced Business Owners / Founders who have founded, co-founded, or independently operated a business. In this role, you will leverage your practical business experience to review, assess, and provide structured feedback on business-related documents and materials. This opportunity is well suited for entrepreneurial professionals with strong commercial judgment, analytical thinking, and hands-on experience managing business operations, strategy, and decision-making. Key Responsibilities Review and evaluate business documents, presentations, spreadsheets, plans, and other professional materials. Assess content for accuracy, clarity, completeness, commercial relevance, and practical applicability. Provide structured, well-reasoned feedback based on your real-world entrepreneurial experience. Identify inconsistencies, gaps, errors, and areas where business reasoning or presentation can be improved. Compare and evaluate different business outputs against defined quality criteria. Apply independent judgment while following established evaluation guidelines and project requirements. Clearly communicate observations, recommendations, and rationale in written form. Maintain consistency and attention to detail across different assignments and business scenarios. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience. At least 2+ years of experience as a business owner, founder, co-founder, entrepreneur, or independent business operator. Demonstrated experience making business, operational, financial, or strategic decisions. Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to evaluate business materials objectively and provide constructive feedback. Required Skills Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word . Strong document review and analysis capabilities. Ability to understand business plans, operational documents, presentations, and financial or commercial materials. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies and gaps. Ability to follow structured guidelines while applying independent professional judgment. Practical understanding of business operations, customers, markets, and commercial decision-making. Preferred Qualifications Experience founding or scaling a startup, small business, or growing company. Experience managing business operations, strategy, sales, finance, or customer relationships. Exposure to business planning, budgeting, forecasting, or performance analysis. Experience preparing investor presentations, business plans, proposals, or strategic documents. Experience working across multiple functions and making decisions in ambiguous or fast-changing environments. Eligibility Candidates must be based in the United States, Europe, the United Kingdom, or Canada . Candidates should be comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment. Engagement Details Remote, flexible engagement. Work will involve reviewing and evaluating business-related materials according to project-specific guidelines. Assignments may vary depending on business domain, project requirements, and expertise. Strong performers may have opportunities to participate in additional evaluation and expert-review projects. Contract and Payment Terms You will be engaged as an independent contractor . This is a fully remote role that can be completed on your own schedule. Projects may be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on project requirements and performance. Work will not require access to confidential or proprietary information belonging to any previous employer, client, or institution. Payments are made weekly based on services rendered through supported payment platforms.
