Job Title: Business Process Consultant Job Category: Information Technology Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: None Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Local * * * The Opportunity: CACI seeks a Senior Business Process Consultant for the United States Secret Service (USSS) contract supporting the Department of Homeland Security. This strategic, transformation-focused role offers a unique opportunity to drive national security outcomes by bridging technology innovation and operational excellence within the USSS Office of the Chief Information Officer. As the Business Process Consultant, you'll be the critical link between mission operations, technology transformation, and AI-enabled innovation. You'll analyze current-state processes, identify improvement opportunities, and translate business needs into actionable technology requirements and AI use cases—particularly where artificial intelligence can drive efficiency, automation, and better decision-making. You'll play a vital role in standing up the USSS AI Team by identifying and documenting AI use cases, building the AI Use Case Repository, supporting the AI-PMO through change management and stakeholder engagement, and ensuring AI initiatives align with mission needs. Working across OCIO divisions and with field stakeholders, you'll document workflows, develop change management strategies, create transformation playbooks, and design frameworks enabling successful adoption of AI capabilities. This role requires analytical rigor combined with organizational change expertise and stakeholder empathy for a program of national importance. Responsibilities: -Analyze business processes and operational workflows across OCIO divisions and field operations to identify opportunities where AI can improve efficiency, decision-making, automation, and mission outcomes -Identify, document, and prioritize AI use cases through stakeholder interviews, workshop facilitation, and operational analysis; build and maintain comprehensive AI Use Case Repository -Translate business needs into prioritized AI use cases, requirements, and measurable outcomes to inform the AI Strategy, 3-Year Roadmap, and AI Team priorities -Develop business cases for AI initiatives quantifying expected benefits, resource requirements, implementation timelines, and success metrics -Support AI-PMO operations by providing business analysis, stakeholder engagement, and change management expertise for AI initiatives -Document as-is and to-be process maps, create business cases, and define KPIs to track AI implementation and transformation outcomes -Support organizational change management activities including impact assessments, readiness evaluations, and adoption planning for AI and technology transformation initiatives -Facilitate cross-functional engagement with Cyber, Infrastructure, Mission Delivery, Business Support, and field stakeholders to ensure AI initiatives align with mission priorities -Facilitate workshops, design thinking sessions, AI ideation sessions, and collaborative problem-solving activities -Create communications materials, training content, and knowledge transfer assets supporting AI adoption; incorporate user feedback and lessons learned into playbooks -Support AI governance activities by documenting AI use case approval processes, decision criteria, and prioritization frameworks Qualifications: Please note: While this role is primarily remote, there is the possibility of regular onsite presence in Washington, D.C., dependent on customer needs. We encourage applications from candidates located within driving distance of the D.C. area. Required – Master’s degree + 7 years of experience in business process consulting, business analysis, or organizational change management; equivalencies considered (16 years of experience with no degree, AA + 12 years' experience, BA/BS + 10 years) Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance Demonstrated expertise in business process analysis, process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma), and workflow optimization Proven experience translating business requirements into technology solutions and use cases Strong change management capabilities with experience developing and executing change strategies Experience facilitating workshops and engaging diverse stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills Ability to document complex processes and requirements in clear, actionable formats Desired – Professional certifications (CBAP, Lean Six Sigma, PMP) Experience supporting federal government or DHS transformation initiatives Familiarity with AI/ML technologies and how they enable business process automation Experience identifying and documenting AI use cases in enterprise or government environments Experience with Agile business analysis techniques and user story development Prior experience in law enforcement, protective services, or national security environments Knowledge of AI ethics, responsible AI principles, and federal AI guidance - What You Can Expect: A culture of integrity. Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
