Business Product Analyst

What will you do?

A Business Product Analyst (BPA) supports the product team in achieving the maximum value potential by ensuring the product is built according to validated requirements, driving user adoption, and realizing change. The BPA can quickly understand the boundaries of a business domain and has meaningful discussions with subject matter experts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Business process change: Understand and document current business processes, identify inefficiencies, design new to-be processes, and support business changes.
• Requirements gathering: Uncover user requirements, translate them into features, and support the Product Owner (PO) in prioritizing features.
• Stakeholder management: communication with stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective collaboration.
• Data Management: proactively investigate data related issues such as integrations to support application operations
• (Standby) Support: Maintain continuity of deployed products, support incident management, and assist with technical configurations, including standby duties. 24/7, occurs every 5-6th week

With the cross-functional team situated partially in the Netherlands and partially in Hungary, the BPA acts as the bridge to provide context and clarity to their direct colleagues.

Your Profile:

• A bachelor-level education
• Around 4-5 years of experience in a similar role
• Pro-active mindset: Take the initiative to reach out and create (business) relationships where needed and have a pro-active and curious attitude
• Analytical skills: Ability to quickly distinguish main issues from side issues.
• Data skills: Some familiarity with the workings of API’s is preferred.
• Documentation skills: Perform documented, reliable analyses and structure requirements accordingly. Some experience in business process modelling is preferred.
• Perseverance & result-oriented: Willingness to go the extra mile and achieve results.
• Communication skills: Good social and communication skills to connect with all stakeholders and to form the bridge between the NL and HU based colleagues.
• Dashboarding knowledge is preferred.

Furthermore, you must be willing to:

• Work from the KLM office in Budapest for at least 1 day per week.
• Occasionally travel to the Netherlands to connect with the Netherlands based team members and the business stakeholders.
• Take part in the rotating stand-by duty schedule, providing business support outside regular working hours including weekends when on duty.
