Position Purpose: Seeking an entry/intermediate level SQL/Power BI Devloper to support the development and maintenance of various business units within our Corporate Operations/Data Analytics team. The ideal candidate will have experience writing SQL queries, developing dashboards with Power BI, creating data models , and working with business stakeholders to deliver accurate and actionable reporting.. Takes an active role in design, development, testing, troubleshooting and maintenance. Writing SQL Queries to extract and analyze data from relational databases Develop and maintainPower BI reports and dashboards. Collaborate with business users to gather reporting requirements. Maintains communication with stakeholders during solution development. Collaborating with peers on development and solution strategy to identify the most efficient and effective product solutions. Performs regular code reviews and requests. Performs other duties as assigned Complies with all policies and standards Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, related field, or equivalent experience. 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Completion of a technical training program (e.g. LaunchCode, FDM, etc.) may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree. Qualifications: Up to 2 years of experience with SQL and/or business intelligence tools Hands on experience with Power BI Understanding of Data Modeling and relational database concepts Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Preferred Skills: Experience with Snowflake, or other relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, or Teradata. Familiarity with DAX and Power Query Experience with Object Oriented programming such as Python Healthcare experience Basic understanding of Agile or Scrum methodolgies Pay Range: $56,200.00 - $101,000.00 per year Centene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law , including full-time or part-time status.
