About the Christchurch Call Foundation The Christchurch Call Foundation is an independent non-profit supporting a global community of governments, technology platforms, civil society partners committed to working together to eliminate terrorist and violent extremist content online. Our globally distributed team works across complex issues and relies on strong business support to help them deliver effectively and professionally. About the role This role supports our Wellington-based Business Operations, Finance and Communications Leads help turn priorities into practical action, and contributes to a positive, well-supported organisation Each day in your role will look different. One day you might draft a report on the impact of our external communications, the next day help with recruitment and onboarding, organise a team initiative, track down tickets with an external IT provider, or help get ready for a quality audit. One thing is for sure, you’ll quickly become the go-to person to make sure important actions get done, including: Providing day-to-day business support, keeping priorities, actions, scheduled activities and deadlines moving Supporting internal communications, team events, while always looking for better, simpler and more efficient ways of doing things Coordinating practical IT support, including tracking and following up tickets, equipment, and identifying recurring technology issues. Handling day-to-day financial administration, including accounts payable and receivable processing in Xero. Monitor, track and prepare business reports for communications, IT, finance. You’ll be confident using Microsoft Office and collaboration tools such as Teams and SharePoint and Xero. You’re not afraid to pick up or figure out new tools. Experience in communications, supporting event management or basic IT support would be helpful in this role. We are also open to hearing from people who would like to work part-time.
