We are looking for a Business Support Officer to join our SEND Access to Resources Team (SEND ART). This is an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality administrative and business support, helping to ensure children and young people with SEND receive the placements and resources they need to achieve the best possible outcomes. What You Will Be Doing Managing referrals and workflow systems Supporting specialist placement administration Managing shared inboxes and responding to enquiries Maintaining accurate databases and records Producing reports and management information Supporting meetings, panels and governance processes Processing financial documentation and resolving queries Working closely with schools, providers, families and internal colleagues What We Are Looking For Experience providing administrative or business support Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel Excellent organisational and communication skills Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to build positive working relationships Ability to work independently and as part of a team Essential Requirements 4 GCSEs (Grade A-C / 4-9) including English and Mathematics, or equivalent experience Strong ICT and administrative skills Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially Commitment to equality, diversity and excellent customer service Ability to attend County Hall for a minimum of 40% of the working week Why Join Us?
