Job Description: The Americas Buyer will support and incorporate necessary nuances within the product assortment for the Americas specific customer to maximize owned & operated sales for the region. Success in this role will be highly dependent upon building and maintaining exceptional relationships with the Global Brands Product team, as well as having a strong understanding of the desired Brand aesthetic. This job is located at our Global Home Office in Columbus, OH. What You’ll Do Lead the Americas buying strategy for a specific division and gender within the Hollister brand. Serve as the expert on the Americas customer, leveraging shopping behaviors, lifestyle trends, competitive insights, store feedback, and social media to inform regional product strategies. Drive seasonal hindsight analysis to identify opportunities and establish future Americas tier product priorities for your product categories. Contribute to and help shape the Seasonal View of the Region, influencing Americas go-to-market strategies and identifying white-space opportunities to accelerate regional growth. Lead participation in Global assortment reviews, including monthly Chase/Buy/Cut meetings, advocating for assortments and key items that maximize productivity across Americas tiers for your product categories. Participate in Product Experience Coordination milestones, directing assortment adaptations from the global base assortment while ensuring consistent brand storytelling across all store formats. Partner closely with Planning and Inventory Management to develop strategies that maximize business performance and deliver financial objectives. Collaborate with Regional Planning on buy strategies, in-season inventory management, sell-through optimization, and pricing actions. Analyze Americas business performance across regions, tiers, and stores, providing strategic recommendations and to optimize the business. What You Bring A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 4+ years of Buying experience in apparel Proven leadership experience and ability to thrive in team-based settings Passion for the buying role, fashion retail and the Hollister brand Proven understanding of sales analysis and financial metrics that relate to your business Strong presentation skills and the ability to communicate confidently to leadership A high comfort-level with analytical sales tools and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications A collaborative approach to working with cross-functional partners to achieve the vision of the brand Willingness to travel as needed Benefits & Perks As an Abercrombie & Fitch Co.
