Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented CAD Draftsman with experience in plumbing design and drafting. The ideal candidate will have expertise in creating detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings for plumbing systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Key Responsibilities-Develop accurate CAD drawings and blueprints for plumbing installations, water systems, and sewer layouts.-Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to refine designs.-Ensure drawings adhere to local building codes and plumbing standards.-Maintain and update project documentation, including technical specifications.-Conduct site visits when necessary to verify measurements and design accuracy.-Optimize designs for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and ease of installation. Qualifications & Skills-Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other CAD software for plumbing and MEP drafting.-Strong understanding of plumbing codes, water distribution, and drainage systems.-2+ years of experience in CAD drafting, preferably in the plumbing or construction industry.-Knowledge of BIM modeling is a plus.-Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.-Ability to interpret architectural and engineering blueprints.
