Job Summary: The CAD Specialist will focus on digitizing and editing floor plans of buildings accurately and efficiently using CAD-based technology (Revit, AutoCAD, or MicroStation). The CAD Specialist should be familiar and knowledgeable with Revit, MicroStation, and/or AutoCAD products. Responsibilities and Duties Digitize and edit floor plans accurately and efficiently Manage files, drawings, and maps for report output in various formats Adhere to quality control procedures and maintain documented standard operating procedures Stay updated on application upgrades and industry standards Create accurate and detailed CAD drawings using either LiDAR Scans and/or Redlines Collaborate with team members to ensure data accuracy and project completion May require creating and maintaining documentation Ability to participate in regular Teams Call Qualifications: Associate degree or Technical School certificate in Computer Aided Design or related field, or minimum one year of experience U.S. citizenship (due to federal contract requirements) Valid Driver's License Desired Technical Skills and Knowledge: Solid understanding and experience with A/E/C CAD Standard 4.x (or later) Minimum 6-12 months experience in: MicroStation CAD (architectural application) AutoCAD (architectural application) Knowledge of architectural floor plans Familiarity with MicroStation Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and other industry-standard applications Experience with reading LiDAR scans Familiarity with Army regulations and organizational structure (preferred) Experience with AR 415-28, AR 405-70, and AR 420-1 is beneficial Personal Attributes: Strong organizational and communication skills Problem-solving aptitude Ability to multitask and meet deadlines with quality work Motivated team player Physical Demands and Work Environment: Position will be remote Skills: Attention To Detail, Communication Skills, Problem Solving, Computer-Aided Design, Teamwork, Time Management, Collaboration, Organizational Skills, AutoCAD, MicroStation CAD Experience, Microsoft Office Products Experience Salary and Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Vision insurance Company Paid Holidays Professional Development Assistance Referral Programs Compensation: The compensation will be competitive and commensurate with the candidate’s skills and experience.
