CAD Technician

Our Team includes designers, engineers, surveyors, project managers, technologists, geo-technical and environmental teams, asset and maintenance managers and quantity surveyors all working together We work in partnership with public sector clients and private companies both at home and internationally, and we are committed to supporting the government in realising their climate, infrastructural and societal goals as part of Project Ireland 2040 Our key areas of expertise in Structural Design include: Smart cities Large Scale Residential and Commercial Buildings Water & Wastewater Our key areas of expertise in Civil include Rail & Urban transit Active travel Roads and bridges Water & Wastewater Smart cities Energy Consulting and Operations CAD Technician Produce drawings or models using Autodesk software. This role will require working with and for the relevant Senior Engineers and design engineers. Essential knowledge of drawing software tools – Autodesk File organisation - Creation and management of multiple xrefs into drawing packages. Experience creating construction drawings of plans, sections and typical details. Experience of CAD Standards and applying them to projects has instructed by the Senior Engineer. Coordinating with site engineers and project team. Working knowledge of the principles of road design and Active Travel project. Experience of using a Common Data Environment: ProjectWise, ACC, DALUX, etc would be beneficial Essential knowledge of drawing software tools – Autodesk Experience of CAD Standards and applying them to projects has instructed by the Senior Engineer.Working knowledge of the principles of road design and Active Travel project.
