Call for Offers: Video & Photo Production Coordinator (Consultant)

Margins 2 Markets (M2M) is building key components of an effective waste management system in three ecologically valuable coastal regions: Raja Ampat/Sorong (Indonesia), Tamil Nadu (India), and Zanzibar (Tanzania). These regions face similar challenges: remote and growing coastal communities, insufficient waste management infrastructure, limited access to recycling markets, and increasing plastic pollution from tourism and population growth, driving marine litter and threatening biodiversity, fisheries, and local livelihoods. The project establishes regional collection, pre-processing, and recycling infrastructure, including Material Recovery Facilities (MRFs) and pre-processing sites, and connects these to national and international recycling markets. It combines this physical infrastructure with digital traceability systems, incentive schemes for waste collectors, training, occupational health and safety measures, and transparent payment systems. The overarching goal is to prevent approximately 40,000 tonnes of plastic waste from entering coastal and marine ecosystems and to develop a replicable model for other coastal regions. What we are looking for: Clean Hub is looking for a consultant to provide ongoing, as-needed video production and content support for M2M Indonesia operations, in coordination with the CleanHub team in Germany and local Hub partner. Video & Photo Production Coordination Coordinate and manage video production for M2M content (web, social media) in and around Indonesia project site Plan and execute shoots at Hub location: Raja Ampat/Sorong Deliver high-quality footage using own equipment Content Production & Post-Processing Edit and produce post-ready video and photo content in close cooperation with the CleanHub Germany team Provide raw video and photo material on request, for other editors/team members if needed for wider content use Script & Editorial Support Support script writing for video content, drawing on close familiarity with the Indonesia Hubs and their operations Cross-Cultural & Language Support Conduct and translate Indonesian-language interviews Prepare key segments and documentation to make Indonesian content accessible to the wider (non-Indonesian-speaking) CleanHub team Travel & Field Coverage Travel to the Hub location in Indonesia as required for production (Raja Ampat/Sorong) Time Commitment Total input: approximately 80 hours over the project duration (2026–2030), assuming roughly 5 days per quarter for content production Timing of individual shoots/deliverables to be agreed with the CleanHub team based on project milestones and events Requirements: University Degree in a relevant field; background studies in 3D graphic design/animation Minimum 5+ years of professional experience as Marketing Manager and Creative Director with a strong video/photo production portfolio Based in Indonesia Fluent in English and Indonesian, both written and spoken. German is a big plus Proven ability to work independently and communicate effectively across cultures Willingness and ability to travel within Indonesia for production and fieldwork Nice to have: Proven experience in content production for NGOs active in Indonesia, big plus if focused on waste management-related projects Hands-on familiarity with Indonesia's language, culture and people, as well as first-hand understanding of local waste management issues Interested consultants are invited to submit an offer to [email protected] including: CV highlighting relevant qualifications A short portfolio or reel/link showcasing relevant video and photo work.
