As our Camp Administrator, you are the heart of the camp office and the main point of contact for our families. You will orchestrate the administrative engine that powers our life-changing summer programs—from guiding families through their very first enrollment inquiry to organizing travel days and managing our summer office. Location: Wiscasset, Maine Hybrid or In-Person Must be able to work on campus intermittently and full-time from June to August Summer season 6 days a week schedule Schedule: Full-time, Year-Round Exempt/Non-exempt: Non-Exempt Reports to: Camp Director How to Apply: Submit Application Deadline to Apply: September 22, 2026 at 11:59pm est Reviewing Candidates on a rolling basis Key Responsibilities Enrollment & Family Relations Serve as the primary, welcoming point of contact for prospective and returning families via phone, email, and campus tours. Manage end-to-end enrollment in CampMinder and Salesforce, tracking waitlists, processing leads, and maintaining high data integrity. Guide families seamlessly through registration, required documentation, financial aid steps, and payment processes. Coordinate and plan recruitment and re-enrollment events (both virtual and in-person), supporting our commitment to making camp accessible to a wide range of families. Operations & Systems Management Manage camp communication systems, including newsletters, informational mailings, participant letters, and live webinars. Handle travel and shuttle logistics for seasonal staff and campers in coordination with families and charter services. Procure necessary campsite reservations and wilderness permits for cabin, backcountry, and contract trips. Track inventory, assist with supply ordering, and coordinate required staff certifications. In-Season Summer Operations Live on campus with housing provided, working a seasonal six-day-a-week schedule during the summer session. Set up and oversee the summer office space and front desk operations to welcome visitors and staff. Play a central role in executing seamless camper arrival and departure days, staff celebrations, and session paperwork. Manage camp mail, camper binders, and daily administrative needs while sharing meals and community life on campus. Qualifications Must pass a Criminal Background Check, including Motor Vehicle Record. Valid Driver’s License approved by Chewonki’s insurance carrier. Must be at least 21 years old. Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to function well in high-paced and sometimes stressful environments. Proficiency with Google Workspace. Proficiency with CampMinder database (on-the-job training available). Proficiency with Salesforce. Experience working independently and on a hybrid remote schedule. Must have a home workspace with internet that supports Zoom meetings and events (if working hybrid). Attend required onboarding and training sessions (in-person/on campus). Physical Requirements Must be able to list 40 lbs at a time. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Ability to travel as needed. Pay & Benefits: $20 - $25 / Hour.
