Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Korean to English Interpreter. The interpreter will provide real-time, accurate interpretation between Korean and English during virtual calls, supporting clients across sectors such as medical, legal, and customer service. Daily tasks include listening and interpreting spoken Korean into clear, natural English and vice versa, maintaining confidentiality and cultural accuracy at all times. The role involves collaborating with call center teams, following established scripts or guidelines when required, and documenting key call information in English. The interpreter may also support quality assurance, participate in regular training to stay current on terminology and best practices, and help improve interpretation workflows and customer experience.
Qualifications

• Strong Korean and English language skills, including advanced fluency and accurate Translation abilities.
• Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills for handling diverse callers in a professional, empathetic manner.
• Experience in English Teaching or language instruction, and Training capabilities to support ongoing skill development.
• Prior interpreting or translation experience in call centers, medical, legal, or similar environments is highly beneficial.
• Ability to work remotely with reliable internet access, and to manage time effectively in a full-time schedule.
• High attention to detail, strong listening skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Familiarity with interpretation best practices, confidentiality standards, and data privacy requirements.
• Relevant certifications in interpretation or language proficiency and a bachelor’s degree in languages, communication, or a related field are a plus.
