The Role

We are seeking an experienced Career Coaching Manager to lead career coaching strategies, professional development programs, employability initiatives, and coaching excellence. The ideal candidate will oversee coaching frameworks, career planning services, employer engagement, program effectiveness, and cross-functional collaboration while helping individuals achieve their career aspirations and long-term professional success.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement career coaching strategies, coaching frameworks, and professional development programs aligned with organizational objectives and workforce needs.
• Lead career coaching services including one-on-one coaching, career planning, career transition support, leadership coaching, interview preparation, résumé development, networking guidance, and job search strategies.
• Collaborate with Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Employer Relations, Student Success, Academic Programs, Operations, Data Analytics, and Executive Leadership to deliver impactful career development initiatives.
• Design and manage career readiness programs, leadership development initiatives, mentorship programs, employability workshops, and professional skills training.
• Build and maintain relationships with employers, industry partners, professional associations, alumni, and workforce development organizations to expand career opportunities.
• Develop coaching methodologies, competency frameworks, career assessment tools, individualized development plans (IDPs), and coaching resources.
• Monitor labor market trends, industry developments, emerging skills, salary benchmarks, and workforce demands to provide evidence-based career guidance.
• Support individuals in identifying career goals, strengths, transferable skills, professional growth opportunities, and long-term career pathways.
• Coordinate career events, networking sessions, employer presentations, job fairs, recruitment initiatives, and career education programs.
• Establish coaching quality standards, performance metrics, client feedback mechanisms, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including coaching satisfaction, employment outcomes, career progression, program participation, employer engagement, coaching effectiveness, client retention, and professional development outcomes.
• Conduct program evaluations, coaching assessments, labor market analyses, benchmarking studies, stakeholder surveys, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, ethical coaching standards, privacy regulations, equal employment opportunity principles, and professional coaching best practices.
• Manage career coaching budgets, external coaching providers, assessment platforms, learning technologies, employer partnerships, and strategic workforce development initiatives.
• Drive digital transformation through artificial intelligence (AI)-powered career assessments, skills gap analysis, personalized career recommendations, virtual coaching platforms, workflow automation, and business intelligence solutions.
• Utilize LinkedIn Learning, Microsoft 365, Power BI, Tableau, Salesforce, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Learning Management Systems (LMS), Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), coaching platforms, and career management technologies to optimize coaching outcomes and generate actionable insights.
• Prepare executive dashboards, coaching performance reports, employment outcome analyses, workforce trends, employer partnership updates, and strategic recommendations for senior leadership.
• Lead, mentor, and develop career coaches, employability specialists, employer engagement professionals, and cross-functional teams while fostering a culture of empowerment, collaboration, innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Counseling, Education, Business Administration, Career Development, Organizational Development, or a related field.
• Master's degree in Career Counseling, Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, Business Administration (MBA), Education, or a related discipline is highly advantageous.
• Professional certifications such as Certified Career Coach (CCC), International Coaching Federation (ICF) Credential, Certified Professional Career Coach (CPCC), SHRM, CIPD, Project Management Professional (PMP), or equivalent are preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in career coaching, career services, talent development, human resources, learning and development, workforce development, or related roles.
• At least 2 years of experience managing coaching teams, career development programs, employability initiatives, employer engagement activities, or talent development projects preferred.
• Strong understanding of career coaching methodologies, adult learning principles, talent development, workforce planning, coaching ethics, recruitment practices, labor market trends, and professional development strategies.
• Experience with LinkedIn Learning, Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, Tableau, Salesforce, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, LMS platforms, ATS platforms, coaching technologies, and career assessment tools.
• Familiarity with AI-powered career coaching platforms, digital learning ecosystems, predictive workforce analytics, virtual coaching technologies, skills intelligence platforms, and advanced talent analytics is highly advantageous.
• Strong leadership, communication, coaching, stakeholder management, facilitation, analytical thinking, project management, budgeting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple career development initiatives while balancing client needs, employer expectations, organizational priorities, budgets, timelines, and workforce objectives.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment with distributed coaching teams, employers, educational institutions, executives, learners, and global stakeholders, with occasional travel for employer engagement events, career fairs, workshops, conferences, and strategic planning sessions as required.
