Employment Type: Permanent Full Time Location: Parramatta with flexible hybrid working arrangements About the role As a Case Manager, you will play a pivotal role in providing holistic support to young people in need. Your primary responsibility will be to work closely with young people, who are experiencing a range of emotional, behavioural, and psychological difficulties. Through your expertise in therapeutic intervention and case management, you will help guide them towards improved mental well-being, self-esteem, and life skills. To be successful in this role, you will have experience working with Children & Young People in out of home care and an understanding of trauma and its effects on children and young people. This role is offered as a permanent full-time opportunity working Monday to Friday. Hours of work are 8:30am – 5pm. The successful candidate will also conduct monthly home visits across the Northern and Western Sydney regions. Additional travel may be required depending on caseload requirements. A tool of trade will be provided. Role Requirements Relevant bachelor’s degree, or a relevant diploma and be working towards a degree. ( A qualification is desirable but not essential for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander applicants with relevant experience and a willingness to undertake further training) Previous case management experience within an Intensive Therapeutic Care or Out of Home Care (OOHC) setting Experience supporting Children & Young People with disability, who have experienced backgrounds of trauma, abuse and/or neglect. Understanding of current casework practices for children and young people Current drivers’ licence Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check.
