Follows established cash posting procedure for accurate and timely posting of cash deposits and electronic transfers in our fast-paced Medical Billing Department. Responsible for all phases of cash posting activities, including but not limited to: · Post cash batches in date order. · Post cash batches accurately and timely. · Balance cash batches, if not balanced, notify management. · Identify and notify management of payers with rejection trends outside of them normal activity. · Other tasks as assigned by management. Position Type This is a full-time 40 hour work week. Monday -Friday day shift. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. ***** EQUIPMENT IS NOT PROVIDED, YOU MUST HAVE YOUR OWN COMPUTER SET UP Requirements · Billing/follow up/collections of medical insurance claims · Create and work with Excel spreadsheets · Telephone skills to include courteous, professional demeanor · Medicare and/or Medicaid background. · Durable Medical Equipment (DME) experience. · EDI transmission experience preferred. · High school diploma or GED diploma Target start date is 7/22 Salary Description $19.00 hour
