How you can help shape the future:
As Castrol DACH Finance Advisor, you will act as a trusted finance partner for the Castrol business across Germany,
Austria
and Switzerland. You will
provide
clear financial insights, support commercial decision-
making
and help drive sustainable, profitable growth across the DACH region. Working closely with cross-functional stakeholders, you will translate financial performance into actionable recommendations and contribute to sound business planning,
governance
and performance management.
Your new area of responsibility - challenging and future-oriented
Act as a finance business partner for the Castrol DACH
organisation
,
providing
financial guidance,
analysis
and decision support to commercial and functional stakeholders.
Support planning, forecasting and performance management processes, ensuring high-quality financial input and transparent business assumptions.
Analyse
financial performance,
identify
risks and opportunities, and translate insights into clear recommendations for business leaders.
Prepare and present meaningful management information, financial
reports
and business reviews for relevant stakeholders.
Support commercial initiatives, pricing discussions, investment
decisions
and business cases with robust financial analysis.
Monitor profitability, cost
development
and key financial KPIs across the DACH business.
Work closely with sales, marketing, supply chain,
finance
and other internal teams to ensure aligned decision-making and strong financial governance.
Contribute to month-end, quarter-end and year-end activities as
required
, ensuring accuracy,
compliance
and
timely
delivery.
Drive continuous improvement in finance processes, reporting
quality
and business partnering effectiveness.
Ensure full compliance with company policies, financial controls, the Code of
Conduct
and all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
Your qualification profile - profound and passionate
University degree in finance, business administration, economics,
accounting
or a comparable field.
Relevant professional experience in finance, controlling, business partnering, FP&A or a similar commercial finance role.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into practical business insights.
Good understanding of financial planning, forecasting,
reporting
and performance management.
Strong business acumen and ability to challenge assumptions constructively while building trusted stakeholder relationships.
Confident communication and influencing skills, with the ability to explain financial topics clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
Structured,
proactive
and solution-oriented working style with strong attention to detail.
Advanced Excel skills; experience with SAP, Power BI or similar reporting tools would be an advantage.
Fluency in English and German;
additional
DACH language skills are a plus.
