Role Overview As a Payment Applications Specialist, you¿ll play a critical role in maintaining the financial integrity of Henry Ford Health by accurately posting payments from patients and third-party payers. Your work directly supports our hospitals, outpatient clinics, and employed physicians, ensuring seamless revenue cycle operations. This role is essential to keeping our healthcare system financially robust and focused on delivering exceptional patient care. What You Will Do Accurately post payments received from patients and third-party payers to healthcare accounts receivables. Manage billing processes for Henry Ford Health System hospitals, outpatient clinics, and employed physicians. Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures to maintain accurate records. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve payment discrepancies and support revenue cycle efficiency. What You Will Need Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications One year of experience in finance, accounting, or healthcare revenue cycle. Experience with general ledgers or other accounting functions.
