Job Overview Bring your passion for creating precise hard-surface models and realistic vehicles into the world of AAA games. Wargaming Kyiv is looking for a skilled 3D Artist to help bring iconic armored vehicles to life in some of our most well-known titles. If you have a sharp eye for detail, strong modeling expertise, and a solid understanding of vehicle design, we’d love to hear from you. What will you do? Create high-quality, game-ready 3D assets across a variety of categories, including weapons, vehicles, props, mechanical objects, and other 3D assets. Work through the asset creation process from modeling and sculpting to texturing and preparing assets for use in the game. Work with references, technical documentation, blueprints, and other source materials to accurately reproduce real-world or fictional objects. Create assets that meet the project's visual and technical requirements. Collaborate with artists and other development disciplines to deliver assets that fit the game's needs. Continuously develop your skills and share knowledge with the team. What are we looking for? 2+ years of experience in 3D art , game development, or another relevant field, or a strong portfolio demonstrating equivalent skills. A solid portfolio showcasing 3D objects and assets. The subject matter can be anything — we’re interested in the quality and range of your 3D work. Strong modeling skills and a good understanding of 3D asset creation workflows. Understanding of high-poly and low-poly modeling, UV mapping, and texture baking. Knowledge of PBR texturing and materials. Proficiency in relevant 3D software such as Maya, Blender, 3ds Max, ZBrush, Substance Painter, or similar tools. Ability to work with references and accurately reproduce shapes, details, and materials. Attention to detail and a willingness to learn and take on different types of 3D tasks. What additional skills will help you stand out? Knowledge of Substance Designer, UVLayout, Marvelous Designer, or similar tools. Experience with photogrammetry. Experience working with a game engine such as Unreal Engine or Unity. Strong sculpting or texturing skills. Work mode Remote (from anywhere within Ukraine).
