Working closely with colleagues across fundraising, operations, marketing, and grant management, you'll play an important role in helping us ensure our charity runs smoothly and efficiently, supporting those who need it most. The Difference You Will Make As a Charity Administrator , you will be at the heart of Cash for Kids' daily operations, helping to ensure charitable grants are administered, fulfilled, and governed effectively. You'll work alongside the National Grants Director, National Brands Charity Manager, and Operations Manager, providing vital support that enables funds and resources to reach beneficiaries accurately, efficiently, and in line with charity governance requirements. This role offers a varied blend of grant administration and operational support, giving you the opportunity to contribute to key projects, compliance activities, charity events, and nationwide campaigns such as Mission Christmas. Your Role Support the administration and fulfilment of charitable grant programmes. Complete due diligence checks and ensure compliance with charity policies and governance requirements. Procure grant-related items and maintain accurate purchasing and fulfilment records. Liaise with beneficiaries to obtain supporting documentation and manage grant enquiries. Monitor and manage the Cash for Kids Grants inbox and respond to requests appropriately. Maintain DBS, safeguarding, lottery licence, and other compliance records. Support the planning and delivery of charity conferences, events, and operational projects. Provide administrative support for major campaigns, including Mission Christmas. Maintain office supplies and support the day-to-day running of the charity's head office. Deliver excellent administrative support to colleagues across the wider charity team. The Skills You Will Bring Previous experience within an administrative environment. NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. A keen eye for detail, particularly when working with compliance processes and sensitive information. Confidence using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams. A proactive and adaptable approach with excellent time management skills. Ability to build effective working relationships and collaborate across teams. Understanding of data protection requirements and handling confidential information. A willingness to learn, develop, and grow within a purpose-driven organisation. Working Pattern & Location This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm . The role is based at the Cash for Kids Head Office in Stockton-on-Tees , with flexibility to work remotely for part of the week through our blended working approach. 3 days office and 2 days remote.
