Chat Support Specialist

ABOUT THE ROLE

Careerscape is hiring a Chat Support Specialist to join our remote customer support team. In this role, you'll assist customers through live chat by answering questions, resolving issues, and providing product or service information. You'll deliver exceptional customer experiences while maintaining fast response times and accurate documentation. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong written communication skills who enjoy helping customers in a remote environment.

COMPENSATION

* Competitive annual salary of $65,000 - $90,000

WHAT YOU'LL DO

* Respond to customer inquiries through live chat

* Resolve customer concerns accurately and professionally

* Provide product and service information

* Troubleshoot basic customer issues

* Escalate complex cases to the appropriate department

* Document customer interactions in company systems

* Meet response time and customer satisfaction goals

* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely resolutions

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

* High school diploma or equivalent

* Excellent written communication skills

* Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities

* Basic computer and typing proficiency

* Strong attention to detail

* Ability to work independently in a remote environment

* Reliable internet connection and dedicated workspace

* Previous customer service or chat support experience is a plus but not required

NICE TO HAVE

* Experience with Zendesk, Intercom, or LiveChat

* CRM software experience

* Technical support experience

* Bilingual communication skills

* E-commerce customer service experience
