Role Description The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is a full-time, remote role responsible for setting the strategic vision and leading the overall direction of August Packaging. The CEO will oversee financial performance, operational efficiency, and business growth, ensuring alignment with the company’s values and long-term objectives. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading the executive team, making key decisions on resource allocation, guiding sales and market expansion efforts, and fostering strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders. The CEO will monitor business performance metrics, manage risk, and drive continuous improvement across departments. In addition, the CEO will represent the organization publicly, champion innovation in packaging solutions, and cultivate a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
Qualifications

• Strong financial acumen, with experience in Finance, budgeting, forecasting, and overall financial stewardship.
• Proven background in Operations Management, including process optimization, supply chain oversight, and efficiency improvements.
• Experience in Business Planning and Strategic Planning, with the ability to set, communicate, and execute long-term growth strategies.
• Demonstrated success in Sales leadership, market development, and building and maintaining customer and partner relationships.
• Extensive executive leadership experience, preferably at the C-suite level, in manufacturing, packaging, or related industries.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead diverse, distributed teams remotely.
• Track record of driving innovation, managing change, and fostering a values-driven, inclusive workplace culture.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is preferred.
