The role:

We are seeking an exceptional Chief Executive Officer to lead the next phase of growth for a high-potential data centre platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping and executing the company’s strategy across development, investment, construction, operations and commercial growth.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for an accomplished data centre executive with the credibility to engage investors, customers, utilities, government stakeholders, delivery partners and internal teams. The CEO will be expected to combine strategic vision with strong commercial judgement and operational discipline, creating a scalable platform capable of delivering mission-critical digital infrastructure in a highly competitive market.

Responsibilities:

• Define and execute the company’s long-term strategy across data centre development, ownership, operations and market expansion.
• Build and manage a strong development pipeline covering land, power, connectivity, planning, customers and investment opportunities.
• Oversee the full project lifecycle, from site identification and feasibility through to design, construction, commissioning and operations.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget and to the required technical, operational and commercial standards.
• Develop and maintain strategic customer relationships across hyperscale, cloud, AI, colocation, enterprise and other key customer segments.
• Lead commercial negotiations and contracting, ensuring the company’s pricing, investment and customer strategies maximise long-term platform value.
• Secure the capital required for growth by managing relationships with shareholders, investors, lenders and financial partners.
• Evaluate and execute strategic opportunities, including joint ventures, acquisitions, partnerships and new market investments.
• Ensure operational excellence across the platform, with a focus on availability, resilience, safety, security, sustainability, efficiency and customer experience.
• Build and lead a high-performing organisation, creating a scalable culture based on accountability, collaboration, integrity and execution excellence.

Requirements:

• Significant CEO experience within the data centre, digital infrastructure, telecommunications, energy or related infrastructure sectors.
• Proven experience leading, developing, owning, investing in or operating data centre assets or platforms.
• Strong understanding of the full data centre lifecycle, including site acquisition, power procurement, planning, design, construction, commissioning and operations.
• Demonstrable experience developing and executing growth strategies across multiple markets or geographies.
• Established relationships with hyperscale, cloud, AI, colocation, enterprise customers, utilities, investors and strategic partners.
• Proven commercial experience, including customer negotiations, contracting, pricing, partnerships and business development.
• Experience raising capital, managing investor relationships, securing project finance or overseeing joint ventures and acquisitions.
• Track record of delivering complex, high-value infrastructure projects safely, on schedule, within budget and to the required standards.
• Strong financial, operational, governance, risk-management and regulatory understanding.
• Exceptional leadership, communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the credibility to engage boards, investors, customers, government bodies and technical teams.
