About For A Cure Foundation
Aussies 4 Cures Foundation (trading as For A Cure Foundation) is an Australian founder-led not-for-profit organisation focused on advancing regenerative medicine research, including stem cell, gene-based therapies and longevity science.
We are currently building the Foundation’s fundraising, philanthropic partnerships, and external presence, and are looking for someone hands-on who can help drive that growth forward.
The Foundation is an ACNC registered charity with DGR1 status.
About the Role
This is a practical, high-ownership role suited to someone who enjoys building initiatives from the ground up and wants to help shape the future direction of a meaningful organisation.
You will work directly with the Founder & Executive Director to help grow fundraising capability, strengthen partnerships, support external engagement, and assist in building a strong long-term presence for the Foundation.
Key Responsibilities
- Help drive fundraising and growth initiatives
- Support donor, sponsorship, and partnership engagement
- Assist with strategic relationship-building and external outreach
- Help shape the Foundation’s public positioning and visibility
- Coordinate and support volunteer-led outreach and engagement activities
- Contribute to the Foundation’s long-term growth and fundraising strategy
- Identify and pursue philanthropic, major donor and partnership opportunities
About You
- Experience in fundraising, partnerships, growth, business development, or external engagement
- Existing access to philanthropic, family office, high-net-worth, corporate, or strategic relationship networks relevant to fundraising
- Comfortable initiating conversations, building relationships, and helping drive funding opportunities forward
- Able to operate independently and take ownership in a lean founder-led environment
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Passion for meaningful impact and long-term growth
