The Opportunity
PX3 Medical is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to build, lead and scale our locum tenens business.
This is not a corporate maintenance role and it is not a purely internal operations position. The COO will be responsible for building a commercially successful locums division, personally participating in early revenue generation and establishing the team, processes and controls required for profitable growth.
The successful candidate must understand the entire locums lifecycle: client development, provider recruitment, pricing, confirmation, credentialing, compliance, scheduling, travel, provider support, invoicing and margin management.
Initially, the COO will personally develop strategic accounts and help fill priority assignments. Over time, direct production should transition to the team as the COO assumes broader responsibility for division leadership, strategy, profitability and scale.

How Success Will Be Measured
Success will include profitable gross-profit growth, provider starts, active assignments, client acquisition, account expansion, team production, provider retention, forecast accuracy and the development of a scalable operating platform.
Why PX3 Medical
PX3 Medical works with healthcare organizations facing some of the country’s most difficult workforce challenges, particularly in rural and underserved communities.
The COO will have the opportunity to build the locums division with direct access to the CEO, considerable influence over strategy and meaningful participation in the value created.
This is an opportunity for an experienced locums executive who believes they can build a better operation and wants the authority, accountability and compensation structure to prove it.
