We’re partnering with a fast-growing European InsurTech that is transforming the motor insurance claims experience through technology, innovation and a strong customer focus.

As the Dutch operation continues to grow, they are looking for an experienced Claims Handler – Motor Insurance to join the team and play an important role in building and developing the claims function in the Netherlands.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants more than simply processing claims — you’ll have the chance to take ownership, improve processes and help shape how a growing InsurTech operates.

What you’ll be doing

• Manage motor insurance claims from first notification through to settlement
• Assess liability, investigate claims and make appropriate claims decisions
• Communicate with customers, repair networks, suppliers and third parties
• Review repair estimates, documentation and supporting evidence
• Negotiate settlements and ensure claims are handled efficiently and fairly
• Identify potential fraud indicators and escalate where appropriate
• Maintain accurate claim records and ensure regulatory requirements are met
• Work closely with internal teams to improve claims processes and customer experience
• Contribute to building scalable and efficient claims operations as the business grows

What we’re looking for

• Previous experience handling motor insurance claims
• Good understanding of claims handling, liability and insurance processes
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail
• Comfortable managing multiple claims in a fast-paced environment
• A proactive mindset and willingness to work in an evolving, entrepreneurial environment
• Fluent English and Dutch
