Role Overview As a Client Data Specialist on the Customer Success team at Visible, you will play a pivotal role in supporting venture capital firms with the collection, organization, and integrity of their portfolio data. You will also own and lead improvements to our internal AI tooling, workflows, and prompting systems. Your primary responsibilities will include: Ingesting and processing portfolio data provided by portfolio companies to venture capital firms. This includes portfolio company updates and data collected directly through the Visible application. Extracting, transforming, and mapping raw data from a variety of formats (Excel, PDF, CSV, etc.) into structured data used within the Visible platform. Verifying data accuracy against source documentation, ensuring all figures and qualitative information are faithfully represented. You will act as our “Human in the Loop” as we refine our AI parsing engine. Collaborating cross-functionally with Customer Success and Product Support teams to ensure data workflows align with client expectations. Taking ownership of our internal AI agent workflows and prompt design, ensuring continuous improvement in data processing automation and operational efficiency Testing, evaluating, and refining prompt structures and automation protocols to maximize accuracy and performance. Working closely with engineering, product, and operations to scale our use of AI in customer workflows and internal tooling. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and analytical individual with experience working directly with financial data, and someone who is excited to explore the operational benefits of applied AI and LLM technologies. Qualifications & What We’re Looking For The following are all guide rails. Don't feel like you need to neatly check each box. If you love the role, we'd love to hear from you. 1+ years of experience working with financial and operational data, ideally in a finance & accounting- or business-related context. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline. Strong proficiency in data manipulation and working with software applications (e.g., Excel/Google Sheets), with the ability to interpret and translate unstructured data into structured formats. Excellent organizational and communication skills—capable of managing large data sets and client interactions simultaneously with attention to detail. Self-starter with a high degree of ownership, reliability, and the ability to thrive in a remote, fast-paced, and evolving environment. You operate with a bias for action and speed—you’re efficient at turning insights into changes that have real impact. You want to be part of a small, growth-minded team. Bonus points if you have Experience working at a high-growth B2B SaaS company. Experience working in venture capital, private equity, or financial services. Familiarity with portfolio company reporting, including investor updates and KPI reporting. Experience working with or managing AI tooling, including prompt engineering and performance evaluation. Remote restrictions Remote-first role open to candidates across the US, with a preference for those based in or near Austin, Chicago, Denver, or Indianapolis. Compensation: Annual Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 (USD), depending on experience and location The Interview Process We'll review your application.
