PURPOSE OF POSITION: The Client Services Analyst is responsible for supporting the business and its external clients throughout the entire customer journey. The role serves as a key liaison between the company and its clients, gathering information, understanding client needs, and providing support related to products and daily operational activities. The analyst plays a critical role from onboarding through post-trade activities, helping ensure a positive, efficient, and satisfactory client experience. In post-trade situations, the analyst supports salespeople with operational matters, system integrations, and coordination with other departments to resolve issues and meet client needs. The Client Services Analyst acts as a primary point of contact when issues arise. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, an ability to think outside the box, and the capacity to coordinate internal resources effectively to address client needs. Although the position is based in the Singapore office, the Client Services department supports all business units globally. Therefore, the analyst will work on activities involving clients and internal stakeholders across different regions. At the Analyst level, the individual is expected to manage more complex cases, operate with greater autonomy, and require a lower level of support and supervision from management. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES (includes but not limited to): Client Support and Daily Operations · Support the Client Services team with day-to-day activities and regular client inquiries. · Manage client-related operational routines, including margin calls, bank reconciliations, and concierge support for the Hedgepoint HUB. · Review client orders and provide tailored post-trade information and operational support. · Resolve client issues, complaints, and disputes effectively and promptly, maintaining a high level of client satisfaction. Sales and Client Relationship Management · Act as a key communication link between clients, Sales, and internal departments. · Support Sales throughout the client journey, particularly during onboarding and post-trade activities. · Review and analyze onboarding documentation submitted by clients, applying strong critical judgment to verify that all applicable requirements, rules, and supporting information have been fully addressed. · Identify missing, inconsistent, or insufficient information and coordinate with clients, Sales, Compliance, Credit, Legal, and other relevant teams to complete the onboarding process. · Build a collaborative relationship with Front Office teams to ensure coordinated and effective support for new and existing clients. · Participate in occasional client visits to provide platform training, explain processes, or collect required documentation. Products, Systems, and Projects · Maintain a strong understanding of the company’s products, services, systems, and policies to provide accurate information and appropriate recommendations. · Participate in projects that directly affect clients, including new product launches, reporting upgrades, system integrations, and client portal releases and enhancements. · Identify opportunities to improve and automate processes using Microsoft solutions, and other available tools, as well as artificial intelligence technologies. · Coordinate with Technology, Operations, Finance, Credit, Compliance, and other internal areas to address client needs and resolve operational or system-related issues. Continuous Improvement · Gather client feedback and suggestions to support improvements in products, services, systems, and customer-support processes. · Contribute to building and maintaining positive client relationships, strengthening the company’s reputation, and ensuring clients are effectively supported throughout their interactions with the business. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: · Languages: Fluent English is required. Spanish is considered an advantage. · Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and provide high-quality client support. · Client Relationship Management: Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, professionalism, and the ability to build effective relationships with clients and internal stakeholders. · Collaboration: Team-oriented, communicative, and able to work effectively across different departments, regions, and cultures. · Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities, with attention to detail and the capacity to identify inconsistencies, risks, and missing information. · Execution and Organization: Ability to manage time-sensitive routines, prioritize competing demands, and complete tasks accurately within established deadlines. · Problem-Solving: Proactive, focused, and capable of independently assessing situations and proposing practical solutions. · Financial Markets Knowledge: Solid understanding of derivatives and financial markets. Knowledge of agricultural commodities is considered an advantage. · Technology and Automation: Familiarity with Microsoft solutions, process-automation tools, and artificial intelligence applications is considered an advantage. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: · Bachelor’s degree or higher in Economics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. · Previous Client Services experience within financial markets. · Experience using Microsoft solutions, process-automation tools, and artificial intelligence applications.
