JOB SUMMARY Under the direct supervision of the Vice President of Clinical Operations, the Clinical Acquisitions Leader (CAL) is responsible for leading clinical integration and operational alignment during acquisitions , start-ups, branch expansions and mergers within the market. The CAL ensures seamless onboarding of acquired agencies, aligning clinical standards, compliance, and culture with organizational expectations. This role requires expertise in clinical operations, regulatory compliance, and leadership development to support smooth transitions and maintain high-quality care delivery. The CAL partners with the Portfolio Clinical Leaders (PCL) and VPCO to drive strategic growth while safeguarding excellence across all four cornerstones: culture, community, clinical/compliance, and finance. Lead clinical integration efforts for newly acquired agencies, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards. Develop and implement transition plans for clinical operations, including orientation, competency validation, and education programs for acquired staff. Collaborate with executive leadership to assess clinical infrastructure and identify gaps or risks during acquisition processes. Oversee project management activities related to clinical integration, including timeline development, task coordination, stakeholder communication, and progress tracking to ensure successful execution of acquisition-related initiatives. Identify opportunities for process improvement across clinical operations, lead improvement initiatives, and implement standardized workflows that enhance efficiency, quality, and consistency across acquired agencies. Collaborate with all Service Center Departments to ensure streamlined implementation. Provide guidance and support to agency leaders during post-acquisition stabilization, focusing on quality improvement and operational efficiency. Monitor and report key performance indicators related to clinical outcomes, compliance, and staff retention during integration phases. Serve as a resource for best practices in clinical operations, regulatory adherence, and leadership development throughout the acquisition process. On site travel required . MINIMUM EDUCATION AND/OR LICENSURE Licensed Registerd Nurse Related licensed discipline (e.g. PT/OT/ST, etc.) MINIMUM EXPERIENCE A minimum of five years’ Home Health and/or Hospice experience Previous experience as an agency leader Previous experience with mergers and acquisitions. REQUIRED SKILLS, ABILITIES AND/OR LICENSURE Strong understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks (state, Federal and Accrediting Organizations) governing home health, hospice, home care and other post-acute care spaces along the care continuum Ability to manage complex integration projects and collaborate across multiple departments to achieve positive clinical outcomes and operational efficiencies Time management and organizational skills necessary to manage multiple projects, appropriately prioritize workload, plan for agency leader’s to meet deadlines and goals, and work independently in responding to day-to-day functional needs. Ability to anticipate and identify problems and use sound judgment and fact-based analysis to develop effective and efficient solutions.
