Job Title: Clinical Data Coordinator Job Description We are seeking a Clinical Data Coordinator to join the Clinical Trials Office at a renowned Cancer Center. This hybrid position involves working on-site for two days per week. The coordinator will provide direct clinical and data management support related to the conduct of clinical trials and the collection and reporting of study-related clinical data for clinical studies within an assigned disease team or area. Utilizing independent judgment and high-level decision-making, this role is responsible for data entry, monitoring visits, and patient scheduling for assigned disease team trials. Responsibilities Coordinate patient/study participant care from recruitment through off-treatment and follow-up phases, including scheduling and verification of appointments. Independently and accurately abstract, create, and maintain study participants' research records, ensuring all required data is collected, source verified, and entered into sponsor databases. Collaborate with study sponsor personnel and maintain effective communication. Utilize advanced computer skills with Excel and Word, and manage electronic medical databases. Maintain confidentiality and manage a variety of duties and shifting priorities in a changing environment. Ensure professional appearance and manner as well as an excellent attendance record. Essential Skills Two years of related work experience in clinical research or data management. Bachelor's degree in a related field. Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, and electronic medical databases. Impeccable interpersonal skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Proven ability to multitask and be organized with meticulous attention to detail. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with Oracle software, Medidata Rave, EPIC, and ONCORE. Knowledge of federal regulations for HIPAA and IRB. Experience working in a clinical trials setting preferred. Oncology experience is a significant advantage. Completion of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) training. Work Environment This position offers a hybrid work environment with two days per week on-site.
