Clinical Digital Change Specialist Shape how digital change is experienced across one of Australia's largest health services. Digital transformation isn't successful because new technology is introduced. It's successful when clinicians embrace it, adopt it and use it to improve patient care. That's where you come in. As a Clinical Digital Change Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in helping our clinical workforce successfully adopt new digital ways of working. Working as part of our newly established Clinical Digital Change Practice within the Department of Clinical Informatics, you'll partner with clinicians, leaders and project teams to ensure digital initiatives deliver meaningful and lasting improvements across Monash Health. This is an exciting opportunity to help build a new practice while influencing how digital change is delivered across one of Australia's leading health services. About The Role This is a hands-on role at the frontline of healthcare transformation. As digital projects, enhancements and initiatives reshape the way care is delivered, you'll lead the people side of change—helping clinicians feel informed, supported and confident throughout the journey so that the benefits of new technology are realised in everyday practice. Working within our Clinical Digital Change Practice, you'll collaborate closely with Clinical Informatics, Clinical Digital Learning, operational leaders and project teams to deliver structured, people-focused change using our Clinical Digital Change Framework: Discover and Plan Engage and Implement Adopt and Embed You'll tailor your approach to the unique clinical environments you support, balancing organisational priorities with the realities of frontline healthcare. As part of a newly established team, you'll also contribute to developing the way clinical digital change is delivered across Monash Health. Success in the role will be measured across three key areas: Change management planning and delivery Collaboration with Clinical Informatics and Clinical Digital Learning to drive adoption and benefits realisation Stakeholder engagement and trusted relationship development This Full Time, ongoing role is based in our hybrid workplace, with at least three days each week on site and flexibility to work from home. Travel across Monash Health sites will be required. About You You know successful digital transformation is about people—not just technology. You bring experience leading change in complex environments and enjoy partnering with clinicians to make change practical, achievable and meaningful. You understand that healthcare teams are busy, highly skilled and constantly balancing competing priorities, and you're able to simplify change into something that feels manageable. You're an excellent communicator who builds trust quickly, adapts your approach to different audiences and navigates ambiguity with confidence. You'll also bring: Experience delivering organisational or digital change, ideally within healthcare or another complex environment Knowledge of contemporary change management methodologies and tools Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills Excellent facilitation, communication and influencing abilities The ability to identify risks, navigate resistance and support sustainable adoption Experience working collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams Qualifications in Change Management, Informatics or a related discipline (health qualifications will be highly regarded) Why Join the Department of Clinical Informatics?
