Hlx Life Sciences is supporting an innovative global biotech in the search for an experienced

Freelance Clinical Research Associate (CRA) to support an ophthalmology clinical trial across Australia.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing study from the outset and work alongside an experienced global Clinical Operations team.

The Role

• Freelance contract
• Minimum 0.5 FTE commitment
• Home-based anywhere in Australia
• Regular travel to investigative sites required
• Competitive hourly rate

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Site Selection, Site Initiation, Interim Monitoring and Close-Out Visits
• Build and maintain strong relationships with investigators and study sites
• Ensure studies are conducted in accordance with ICH-GCP, protocol and local regulations
• Support site performance, patient recruitment and data quality
• Work closely with the sponsor and wider study team to ensure successful trial delivery

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Clinical Research Associate (CRA)
• Essential: Ophthalmology clinical trial experience
• Independent monitoring experience across Phase II and/or III studies
• Strong knowledge of ICH-GCP and Australian clinical trial regulations
• Full working rights in Australia
• Able and willing to travel regularly throughout Australia
