Position Summary: To coordinate and advance CAPTURE ALS research activities at the Montreal Neurological Institute (The Neuro), ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, participant engagement, and national collaboration across the CAPTURE ALS platform. Primary Responsibilities: Research Operations & Coordination Coordinate day-to-day CAPTURE ALS activities at The Neuro, ensuring support of study visits, recruitment targets, and project milestones. Support Investigators/Physicians and the national CAPTURE ALS team in setting priorities and timelines. Record and administer participant information, and carry out required study visit activities in collaboration with medical staff. Attend and contribute to internal and external meetings, including the CAPTURE ALS Coordinators Committee. Serve as liaison between researchers, participants, the Clinical Research Manager and the Program Manager. Data, Sample & Regulatory Oversight Maintain study documentation (e.g., Investigator Site Files, source documents) and ensure regulatory compliance. Coordinate ethics submissions, amendments, and updates with the Research Ethics Board. Oversee data and sample workflows in collaboration with CBIG and LORIS teams, ensuring quality control and monitoring. Contribute to the development and maintenance of SOPs, policies, and internal guidelines. Conduct or support sample collection activities (as applicable and licensed). Platform Development, Reporting & Strategic Support Support participant engagement, outreach, and presentations to promote CAPTURE ALS and disseminate results. Prepare project reports and contribute to budget planning and financial tracking. Assist in drafting grant proposals, project proposals, publications, and communication materials. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners. Support identification and pursuit of funding and revenue-generating opportunities. Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities Undergraduate Degree in Biology or Sciences required. Fluent in French and English required. Two years clinical research experience required. Previous experience with patients required. Proven organizational skills. Must be able to manage multiple activities and projects simultaneously. Ability to troubleshoot, solve problems, take initiative, and prioritize work. Team player. At ease with technology and troubleshooting tech-related problems. Experience with elderly, mobility-reduced, and other vulnerable patient populations an asset.
