Job Description: The Clinical Research Manager III independently leads complex, high-visibility clinical research projects, ensuring strong scientific quality, operational performance, financial oversight, and client satisfaction. This role manages cross-functional teams, builds trusted client relationships, mentors junior colleagues, and promotes consistent, efficient project delivery across the organization. Key Responsibilities Lead complex projects from initiation through completion, ensuring deliverables meet quality, timeline, budget, and client expectations. Develop strong client partnerships, anticipate needs, identify risks and opportunities, and provide proactive project guidance. Manage project finances, including forecasting, budget oversight, variance analysis, and performance tracking. Coordinate collaboration across Clinical Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Pharmacovigilance, and other internal teams. Review project deliverables for scientific accuracy, clarity, consistency, and alignment with client and organizational standards. Supervise, coach, and mentor Research Coordinators, Clinical Research Managers, and other team members. Identify and implement process improvements that increase efficiency, visibility, accountability, and quality. Administer policies and procedures that affect team operations and workflow. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience. Up to five years of related experience, including at least one year of leadership responsibility. Advanced knowledge of project management methods and tools. Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple complex or multi-registry projects. Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Excellent client-facing, communication, and cross-functional collaboration capabilities. Experience managing project budgets, forecasts, and financial performance. Proven ability to lead, influence, coach, and develop multidisciplinary teams. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with project management and financial tracking systems. Why Join Us? Compensation and Benefits The salary range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $105,000.00–$115,000.00. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
