Apply Description The Clinical Solutions Lead III serves as a senior clinical implementation consultant responsible for the successful execution of assigned clinical solution deployments supporting federal healthcare clients. Working under the direction of the Clinical Services Manager, this role provides subject matter expertise, workflow analysis, solution design guidance, project coordination, and implementation support for Oracle Health (Cerner) and related technologies. The Clinical Solutions Lead III acts as a trusted advisor to clients and project teams, helping translate clinical and operational requirements into effective technology solutions while supporting successful adoption and measurable outcomes. Key Responsibilities Clinical Solution Consulting · Analyze current and future-state clinical workflows and operational processes. · Develop workflow recommendations that align with client goals and industry best practices. · Provide functional expertise within assigned clinical domains. · Support application design, configuration, testing, validation, and optimization activities. · Evaluate client requirements and translate business needs into system solutions. · Participate in workflow transformation efforts that support successful system adoption. Project Delivery · Lead assigned project workstreams and ensure timely completion of deliverables. · Develop and maintain detailed project plans, work plans, risk logs, issue trackers, and decision documentation. · Monitor project health and proactively identify risks, dependencies, and barriers to success. · Collaborate with project managers, technical teams, trainers, and operational stakeholders throughout implementation activities. · Support deployment readiness, go-live planning, and post-implementation stabilization efforts. · Facilitate project meetings and maintain documentation of action items and follow-up activities. Client Engagement · Build productive working relationships with client stakeholders. · Serve as a primary contact for assigned functional areas. · Present project updates, recommendations, and implementation status to client and project leadership. · Communicate complex technical and operational concepts to diverse audiences. · Support organizational change management efforts and user adoption strategies. Quality and Documentation · Ensure project deliverables comply with organizational standards and client requirements. · Support lessons learned activities and knowledge transfer sessions. · Contribute to development and continuous improvement of implementation methodologies and best practices. Team Collaboration · Work collaboratively with Clinical Services Manager, Team Leads, and clinical consultants across specialty areas. · Provide mentorship and knowledge sharing to junior consultants when appropriate. · Support the Clinical Services Manager in maintaining delivery consistency and quality standards. · Escalate significant project risks, staffing concerns, and client issues through appropriate leadership channels. Requirements Required Qualifications · Oracle Health (Cerner) implementation experience required. · Minimum 10 years of healthcare, health IT, consulting, or clinical operations experience. · Minimum 5 years of successfully leading complex clinical solution teams in the build, design and implementation lifecycle. · Demonstrated experience supporting Oracle Health (Cerner) implementation projects. · Strong understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare operations. · Experience facilitating workflow design, requirements gathering, testing, and deployment activities. · Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. · Ability to obtain and maintain a government clearance of at least Public Trust. · Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills. · Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a client-facing consulting environment. · Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Preferred Qualifications · Clinical degree or professional healthcare background. · Federal healthcare implementation experience. · Experience supporting large-scale, multi-site healthcare transformations. · Experience leading workflow redesign and change management activities. · Expertise in one or more clinical solution areas, including: Ambulatory Women's Health Behavioral Health Pharmacy Public Health Rehabilitation Services Radiology Inpatient Nursing
