About the Role

We are looking for a Cloud Engineer to design, build, and operate large-scale distributed compute grids for financial pricing and market risk applications. You’ll work with AWS/GCP, Kubernetes, and high-performance computing technologies to process millions of calculations at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and manage large-scale HPC/distributed compute platforms on AWS/GCP.
• Build orchestration solutions for high-volume pricing and risk calculations.
• Deploy and optimize quantitative models across cloud compute environments.
• Drive performance, scalability, reliability, and cost optimization.
• Collaborate with Quant, Risk, and Engineering teams to integrate pricing models.
• Ensure high availability, resilience, and efficient data processing.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience with large-scale compute/distributed systems.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS or GCP and cloud DevOps services.
• Expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, Python, and C++.
• Strong knowledge of HPC, performance engineering, infrastructure-as-code, and distributed systems.
• Financial services experience, especially Market Risk, VaR, Monte Carlo, or XVA, is highly desirable.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
