💻 No more 3 AM firefighting. You'll build resilient platforms that scale and stay reliable, giving cities the tools to keep mobility running smoothly, without the chaos.

⚡ Modernising our stack. You'll transform legacy systems into future-proof solutions and play a leading role in shaping our evolving tech landscape.

Day to day, you will:

• Design, scale and improve our infrastructure: Kubernetes, Azure Cloud, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, the Grafana stack and automation.
• Set the technical direction: introduce new concepts, make architecture decisions and back them up with solid arguments.
• Take ownership of solutions end to end, from design to production. You own what you deliver, and you make sure it's right.
• Collaborate with motivated teammates who are passionate about raising the bar for engineering excellence.

👥 Lead by doing. Be a player-coach: guide and support your teammates, foster learning, and nurture a "No Blame" culture built on shared responsibility.

🤝 Push, but as a team. Pair-program with colleagues (and your AI assistant 😉), partner with internal customers, and speak up when you see a better way. Strong opinions are welcome here, as long as they're well thought through and land in true team spirit.

🔧 Raise the bar. Advocate for automation, best practices and high-quality, reliable cloud architecture. Where you see gaps, you close them. You don't wait for permission to make things better.

🛠️ Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience designing and operating scalable, high-availability infrastructure, with a strong focus on cloud-native platforms, automation and reliability.
• A proven track record in leading transformation projects, migrating legacy systems to modern stacks, and mentoring engineers while fostering collaboration and technical excellence.
• Hands-on expertise with Terraform, Kubernetes, Azure, the Grafana stack and building CI/CD pipelines (Bitbucket Pipelines and/or GitHub Actions).
• Passion for best practices and for delivering stable, reliable and cost-effective solutions that support long-term ambitions.
• The ability to turn vision into action: defining project plans, assessing risks and ensuring quality and on-time delivery.
• Fluent in Dutch.

👌🏼 Nice to have

• Experience with Ansible for automation and configuration management.
• Familiarity with Helm and ArgoCD for Kubernetes application management.
• Knowledge of security best practices in cloud and containerized environments.

📍 Location: Hybrid, with 2 days a week at our office in Leuven/Sint-Truiden. The rest of the week you work from home.
