Cloud Platform Specialist, Infrastructure as Code

As part of its digital transformation, our organization is accelerating the development of its cloud platforms (AWS and OCI) to provide robust, automated and standardized capabilities to all technology teams. We’re looking for a Cloud Platform Specialist with a focus in infrastructure as code (IaC) to help with the design, development and operation of these environments. You’ll play an active role in establishing shared cloud foundations and fully automated environments, as wells as developing self-service consumables platform. You’ll grow your skills in an environment where automation, standardization and collaboration make up the foundation of our work practices, with a strong focus on platform engineering and DevSecOps. More specifically, you will be required to: Design, automate and develop multi-cloud environments (AWS and OCI) Develop and maintain IaC solutions (Terraform) Establish shared cloud foundations (network, security, IAM, observability) Design multi-cloud architecture patterns and golden paths Develop platform services (such as landing zones and clusters) Implement GitOps practices and CI/CD infrastructure Integrate security controls (policy as code) Ensure performance, resilience, security and cost optimization Serve as a technical reference and advise teams Contribute to the evolution of cloud standards and norms. What we offer* Competitive salary and annual bonus 4 weeks of flexible vacation starting in the first year Defined benefit pension plan that provides predictable, stable income throughout retirement Group insurance including telemedicine Reimbursement of health and wellness expenses and telework equipment * Benefits apply based on eligibility criteria. #LI-Hybrid What you bring to the table Bachelor’s degree in IT A minimum of four years of experience in cloud infrastructure or DevOps Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered Experience in platform engineering or cloud platform design Practical experience with AWS and/or OCI, and ability to evolve in a multi-cloud environment Experience in infrastructure automation and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or equivalent) Knowledge of French is required Proficiency with IaC (Terraform: modules, structuring, state) Proficiency in automation and configuration tools, including Ansible Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, Shell, PowerShell and/or other languages) Knowledge of Kubernetes/containerization Knowledge of cloud network concepts and interconnectivity (WAN, Direct Connect, dynamic routing, hub-spoke, firewalls, micro-segmentation, DNS) Action oriented, Business insight, Complexity, Customer Focus, Differences, Nimble learning Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Accessibility At Desjardins, we believe in equity, diversity and inclusion.
