Cloud Systems Engineer 3

Position Overview The Cloud Systems Engineer 3 supports the stability, scalability, and reliable operation of cloud-based networks and software systems, including system integration, performance, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities Drives the stability and sustainability of the cloud-based networks, software systems for scaling and reliable operations. Performs system integration, verification and validation and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Creates proactive engineering mechanisms that will enable the team to manage the health of a number of distributed VMs. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies for hardware and software specifications. Utilizes trends and metrics to identify opportunities for improvements within existing frameworks, tools and processes. Responsible for systems functionality, performance, and configuration issues. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience. Associate's degree (AS/AA) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant professional experience. High School diploma/GED with a minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience. Certifications IAT-2 certification required. One or more cloud certifications required. Clearance Active Secret clearance required.
