Job Description: As a Cloud/Systems Engineer, you’ll provide exceptional customer service and technical expertise to our valued clients. Reporting to the President, you will diagnose and troubleshoot issues, offer general information system support, and contribute to project implementations. This role combines technical knowledge with strong communication skills, serving as the first point of contact for client support needs. Responsibilities: Leverage 5+ years of IT/MSP experience to communicate effectively with clients. Troubleshoot server and cloud applications, with expertise in Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and Windows Server. Lead on-premises to cloud migrations and manage networking tasks (VLAN, TCP/IP, routing, firewalls). Prepare and configure laptops/desktops, ensuring seamless integration with network environments. Administer client accounts in Office 365 and Active Directory. Maintain detailed case notes and documentation within our ticketing system. Support complex technical solutions and provide excellent customer service onsite or remotely. Experience Required: MUST have experience working for an IT Managed Service Provider supporting multiple small to midsize businesses simultaneously Deep understanding of Windows configurations, DNS, and virtual networking. Proficiency in Active Directory (on-premises and Azure Entra), and M365 administration. Ability to troubleshoot VPN, remote desktop, and peripheral issues. Familiarity with Office 365, Exchange Online, and Microsoft Office. Strong oral and written communication skills with a focus on client satisfaction. Location & Schedule: Hybrid role based in Des Plaines, IL. In-office Mondays/Fridays; Tuesdays/Wednesdays/Thursdays on client sites or remote.
